Cluster Workshops: PARTICIPATION

Widespread participation is vital to the success of the
Career Clusters development project.
- No registration fee
- Breakfast, snacks and lunch provided
- Industry professionals attend morning only - Day 1
- All expenses should be advanced by your institution
- $450 honorarium will be disbursed to non–Dallas County Community College (DCCCD) participants
- Mileage reimbursed to DCCCD participants
Throughout the 10 career cluster workshops, we are looking for a diverse group of faculty, staff and administrators with an awareness and/or interest in one or more of the following:
- Successful partnerships with secondary institutions
- Comprehensive knowledge of career pathways and the Department of Education's 16 Career Clusters
- Development of CTE programs that focus on foundational and career skills not just job training
- Establishment of an aligned statewide system that provides opportunities for lifelong learning
We encourage you to attend the workshops as well as nominate other industry professionals, administrators and/or faculty that may be interested in attending the career cluster workshops.
All workshops are being held at the DFW Sheraton Grand Hotel in Irving, Texas. There is not a registration fee to participate. Breakfast, snacks and a working lunch will be provided. We are asking industry professionals to attend the first half of Day 1 for each workshop.
